A Summer in New York City has become synonymous, to me ,with the BK Hip Hop Festival; so Yes, I’m here to say, once again it’s on. But this time, instead of me promoting the live performance part of it, I’m gonna push the film screening arm of the festival. Wonder why? Well, it’s one of the films being screened “L.A. Burning: The Riots 25 Years Later” was directed by a visual artist and homie, One9. The L.A. Riots were a marker in Hip Hop history, and to explore that thoughtI’d advise to attend this screening since both filmmakers will be present, One9 and Erik Parker. But wait… there’s more more films to watch, so watch them.
